The Freelance Communicators Network (FCN) is a group of individuals, sole proprietors, who have a common mission. We don’t compete with each other. On the contrary, we support each other through the ups and downs we all experience as freelancers.
We’re primarily writers, editors and proofreaders, yet we’re also well connected with designers, photographers, printers, etc., in case you’re looking for a referral. While we’re physically located in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-St. Paul) area, with electronic access to the world, we’re available to help you, no matter where you’re located.
Since we believe in the concept of “paying it forward,” we don’t get paid for helping you find a freelancer. Instead, we share leads freely, as they are shared with us — without expectation of any payment in return for our efforts (though we can hope!)
Your requests for help are circulated throughout the FCN network. Members, in turn, forward those requests to other colleagues, who forward to their colleagues, and so on. Thus, our network is virtually unlimited. If there is anyone out there interested and qualified to help you, you will be contacted directly.
As FCN is only a resource and we do not perform the work ourselves, we cannot take any responsibility for the experience you have. In dealing with independent contractors, of any sort, it’s always a good practice to ask for references.
